no. not anyone with sense anyway. it's clear vettel ****ed up and hamilton tried one on and then got out of it very wisely but that's no reason to change a result and frankly a bit of wheel banging today is utterly non event. it's racing.
I called penalty straight away and slo-mo confirmed it. Stewards at the Red Bull Ring wondering whether to penalise a a Red Bull car. Perhaps it is only the driver steward arguing the case for Leclerc.
you mean the slight straightening of the red bull front wheel lust to make sure it nudged the ferrari wheel. I saw that. its called racing. vettel passed earlier and virtually drove Norris off track and in doing so.missed his own exit and let max close up on him. no penalty. really they should ignore all radio chatter as stewards. I'm sick of every driver recording a I've been shot message every time anyone bullies them a bit.
How close to being dropped will Gasly be after yet another dismal showing? It may be the case Max is a genius in the car, but Gasly has to be well below the standard required at the same time. It's embarrassing to be lapped by your team-mate, but in 99.99% of cases it's due to an issue, drive-thru etc. This was genuinely a case of being a lap behind in pure pace and race-craft.
Come on, over 2 hours now!! The highlights on Sky One will be over and we still wont have a decision!
Just looking at the results and McLaren had both Norris and Sainz in to 8 and Alfa also both cars in top 10! Honda have definitely made improvements. Max was able to race other cars and overtake. Then the sad bit the top 5 cars lapped everyone else!!!!! Gasly's fastest lap was almost 1.5 sec slower than Max!!!! That said Bottas was 0.5 sec slower then Hamilton if you look at fastest lap!! Today's race was exciting and was actually a race. Different strategies and cars out of place plus the track gave some great battles. If it were anyone else I would say don't penalise the winner but Max is too aggressive and arrogant he needs knocking down a peg or 2. He is a good driver though.
If Max's Red Bull contract states he can leave if he hasn't won by Hungary then the result of this race may be very important to Red Bull!!!!
