So tomorrow is the 1st July, the first day of pre-season (for some) and the day of the 'loyalty' bonus. It's going to be a busy day and will hopefully be the start of shifting some of the many players we need to shift.
I love Yoshi and I want him to stay until he retires to Japan with a club there, however if it’s good money and means we get 2 CBS in, then fair enough. Any chance they’d fancy Stephens instead?
Yep I like Yoshi, he is a great person (I will always remember him checking on my dad when he was having his chemo done. Then giving him a signed shirt). But I am also not in denial that if the money is good we can do better than him as a player.
Man our cbs are all so poor Hoedt: who is **** and thinks he is amazing Stepehens, Yoshida, Vestergaard. Bednerak being our only actually decent cb
In an ideal world I'd want us to sell Hoedt, Stephens and Vestergaard and buy in two CBs. One dominant leader as a starter, and the other a promising player to battle it out with Bednarek as starter. Yoshi is a model professional, has been with the club for a long time and will always give his all when needed in whatever position is asked of him, and his attitude and experience are important to keep around. Add Jones as a youth option and that's 5CBs. I don't see us selling Vestergaard so soon though, not least because we bought him for what? £20m? just last summer.

I agree to a point, if we can bring in a CB with obvious more quality and potential than MY we should, if not be should be retained.
No way I'd sell Yoshi. You just know he'd be treated appallingly up there, & my little heart couldn't bare to witness that. Screw the money, pick happiness.
