MON was awful, refused to play the 2 best players in the side ( Grabban and Carvalho) and played players out of position ( Colback in left back position). he was clueless, up to Xmas when Karanka, was there they looked a different side and bound for play offs at least.
The assumption some make is that when the Allams go, we will get insightful empathetic owners who will gift the club millions with no strings attached. A look around other Championship clubs suggests this is unlikely.
You could quite well be right, that is why I've been supporting Blackpool and their attempts in getting the EFL to be more responsible for vetting potential owners and keeping a watchful eye over their management of the club. Supporters have a vested interest in clubs, as in many cases their support financially over the years has actually kept clubs from folding, and their input, like in Germany, needs to be taken more seriously.
I'd settle for owners who give a **** about the attendance and stop doing moronic things to piss of the supporters

Forest fan I spoke to this morning reckons MON was replaced after telling the owners that the players they have are crap and not good enough to gain promotion. Players then heard about it and rebelled.
Isn’t that what every manager says every season when they’re trying to get more players in? (Or the variation which matches the owner’s ambition where they say they’re not good enough to stay up)
