No, they have to consider it, someone else might come in with a better offer or the player may not wish to move to the bidding club.
Release clause means the club have no say. If the bid matches or is higher than the fee in the contract it is automatically accepted, even if another club come in with a higher bid, the original bid is still accepted (both are accepted). The player 'considers' it. However in further reading, A Madrid want to pay in instalments and add-ons. A release clause only works if the fee is paid in one lump sum (like Neymar)
I dunno mate. it's either klopp or ffp in my little head. we spent 127mil. we could have a 1 year issue here but I don't know where we are at on the rolling 3 years
anyone see Camacho deal? 20% of any sell on plus a buy back option. we get the 5mil if he side any way well but cos he wouldn't sign a new deal it's the best we can do in case he turns into a brilliant player.
#LFC agree the £5 million rising to £7m sale of Rafael Camacho to Sporting Lisbon. 20% sell-on clause and a buy-back option included.
It's a good deal, I was not convinced by him when he played so to get good money for an unproven player is great business.
Net spend prior two years was virtually zero. Net profit was ok. Plus we’ll be in a great place financially this year. We’ve got money. I’ve no doubt.
We played him rb and he'd not more interest in it. he said he's a forward so attitude was an issue let's see
it was certainly low but we only know of one years profit so far. I would expect last years result to show break even. but we don't have them yet. we broke even then had a 100 mil profit. we've got to wait and see I suppose
You have to take into account the marked increase in PL money. Basically our income has hockey sticked!
We've sold Camacho for £5m possibly raising to £7m with add-ons plus a 20% sell on and buy back clause
