All fair enough, Ern. However, do you remember when you West Ham fans had to suffer some of the most depressing football ever endured at your club? I do. Your lot jammed the lines when Durham and Gough devoted an entire program to a "the state of West Ham" style debate. Every fan who came on said the same thing - Gold and Sullivan were to blame, and needed to go. I think your fans even organised protests at matches. To be fair to your owners, they did actually listen to the fans and they appear to have worked towards addressing fans' grievances. But the point I'm making is that the way your lot felt during those times is exactly the same way that the Toon Army feels now about Ashley. And that feeling certainly won't have lifted with them seeing Benitez (who they all loved) walk away from the club.
Do you actually know any Newcastle fans out just get your view entirely from Sky Sports? We have a minority of self entitled fans, as does every club. Everything else you said simply mimics the tabloids lazy stereotype - we can all play that game...
If Mike Ashley was Saints chairman, I'd set fire to St Mary's. I'd rather have Boris bloody Johnson (oops wrong thread!). He's a terrible **** though.
Really? As far as I can see, Gao's only negative is either a) lack of funds, or b) inability to get his money out of China. Don't think he's actually done anything wrong yet. Mike Ashley is a disgrace of a man, a real ****ing lowlife.
Well if we're judging character, didn't Gao admit to bribery in a court of law resulting in executions of his co-defendant/s? Not that I can really be arsed with this discussion tbh.
it was quite mixed, lots of banter and nearly always taken well, unless it was mid-match and you were losing, which made it funnier.
