Got bought a load of beers from some small company in London and most were horrible, there's too much of it out there and the quality isn't always the best.
Didn't know you had gout? I manage mine really well now I'd avoid the darker beers in general and only have one now and then. Light beers and avoid British and I'm ok, they add a caramel to British beers that can set me off.
Not had it for years and thought it was just osteoarthritis but then I noticed the tell tell swollen red big toe. I'm hoping it doesn't turn out to be much as it's a bad week to have it. Got golf this evening, Thursday and Saturday!!
Wadworths 6X or any Hook Norton beer. The latter is made at an amazing old brewery which is well worth a tour.
Well it used to be Marstons Pedigree but they ruined it by moving it from the Burton brewery to Banks brewery iirc. Draught Bass well kept was top notch but hardly see it these days. Wainwrights Golden ale is nice and with the added bonus of being quite low alcohol 4.10% Tribute IPA. Though these days i'm normally on red wine
Plonk is a non-specific and derogatory term used primarily in British and Australian English for cheap, low-quality wine. It is believed to come from Australian slang, in reference to blanc (the French word for "white"), before it became naturalised in Britain.
I think that's why I've had a gout attack! Bass Red Triangle is a fine beer. Preferably straight from the barrel, I know a couple of places still do that.
Different things give different people gout but red wine is pretty much something that will not give you gout according to experts.
and has a fine history as it can be seen in "Bar at the Folies-Bergere" by Manet please log in to view this image amazing what sticks in your mind sometimes
Not as long as this 15th century pub I go to that sells it though. I don't think anyway! https://www.princeofwalesinn.co.uk/history Cracking place.
I must admit I'm dying for a session on the beers. Don't think I've had more than a pint for about 2 months. Can't even remember the last time I got pissed.
I don't like the strong anti inflammatories, Diclofenac played **** with me for a number of years. Did have to try naproxen last time this flared up about three years ago but would rather not. Am actually popping a couple of CBD oil tablets this time. May work, may not.
