    ```Looking like an all Chelsea “off the pitch” management group if Lampard joins. Cech is back, Makelele looks like he’s coming, Jody Morris, not sure about Zola. No new imports except the American kid, so hopefully a couple more kids like Mount, Tomori, Reece Jones et al, and we might be in for a proper rebuild and a proper interesting season.
    Yes, he’s been underwhelming for sure, but I wonder if, 2nd season, he might have something to offer if he’s played differently with Kante back where he belongs? My biggest concern is his lack of speed, he might even lose a race against Fabregas !!
    He may just be back home in Italy for Christmas.
    well Lampard should certainly have a reasonable idea about the level of Mount & Tomori <laugh>
    Think i heard that Tomori was voted Derbys player of the season but difficult to see him getting much game time against Rudiger , Luis , Zouma & Christeinson .
    Except we’re in the CL this season and if we genuinely go for the 2 English cups as well, we’ll need better rotation than Sarri used last season, and far better use of subs.
    Definitely been underwhelming since hes been found out.
    As for kante, i have hated him playing in the position sarri had him playing in as he doesnt have the strength, speed of thought or the killer pass in him.
    He got better and better in that position though and hes certainly changing my mind slowly about playing a bit further forward.
    I think Kante has been solid in the role and done a job due to his engine and quality, much like Ramieres did when played right midfield for us in 2012.
    Not his best position though and I'm sure the first job of any new manager will be to move him back.
    This.....
    Moving Kante back where he belongs and ditching Jorginho and Barkley should be the first job of any new manager.
    Not ideal in that he cannot sign replacements, but we have players in the Youth set up who could do a job there for one season.
    For me, next season, considering we cannot make any signings, top 6 is what I am looking for.
    The season after that though, I expect a title challenge
  15. You’ve seen how Little Ollie has been “strapped to the wheel” at United, even without the constraints of a transfer ban.
    You don’t think there’s any chance of that happening to Lamps?
    I'm sure Franks personality and drive will see him through the first year. One things for sure, he will have the respect of the players so I'm confident of a top six finish.
    Hardly, it's taken your fat Argy 5 years to get to a final but Frank achieved that in his first term at Derby.
    So this looks like it's happening, might be a good move if he's given time to build but with Romans patience it could be a disaster.
