I imagine the 16% that think the Guardian is very left wing are the same 16% who think the government were doing well in Brexit negotiations - https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-45520517

I think in marketing terms that group is classified as ****ing idiots

It's also definitely not the most extreme left wing newspaper.

    Why - is there a Marxist's Times I don't know about?

Why do you think the Guardian exclusively got the story and recordings?

Well I would suggest the Morning Star is slightly more left wing than the Guardian.

I imagine the people who gave the tapes are more likely Guardian readers than they are Morning Star readers.

16% of those interviewed in your poll described the gaurdian as very left wing. The consensus, was fairly left wing or slightly left of centre. You used the description, ultra left wing. So you’re off the scale. Hardly a balanced description is it.

Your question of why it has ended up there has already been answered, but if you’re choosing to ignore it, I’ll say it again. If they sent it to a right wing publication, they either wouldn’t publish it to protect their boy, or they’d trade off not publishing it for a favour or two. That’s how the pr game works. So it was guardian or mirror and the guardian is a more credible broadsheet.

Do you need to keep wondering why it ended up there, with your conspiracy theory hat on or have you grasped that it was the obvious choice for someone to send it to, if they wanted it in the public domain.

They would obviously select the Guardian for a wider readership, as the Morning Star would only appeal to those whose mantras are already cast in stone.

The circulation and online following of the Morning Star is probably less than the Beano anyway.

The question would then be why would they want it in the public domain if their action wasn't politically motivated?

Also my description of the Guardian (at least I can spell it <laugh>) as ultra left wing is the same of those with the opposite tendancies would describe the Mail as being ultra right wing.

It's just a matter of degree you're wetting yourself over - chill out pal. <ok>

    Except it's not.

16% of people said The Grauniad was very left wing whilst 44% said the Mail was very right wing.

As for the reason why they wanted it in the political domain is because he wants to be Prime Minister. Here's what three senior judges in 2013 said about whether the public had a right to know about a brief extra martial affair Boris had with a woman who then gave birth to his daughter

"The core information in this story, namely that the father had an adulterous affair with the mother, deceiving both his wife and the mother's partner and that the claimant, born about nine months later, was likely to be the father's child, was a public interest matter which the electorate was entitled to know when considering his fitness for high public office."

Wow, you’re the typo police now. The point on the grauniad was you’re just showing your own bias.

They could want it in the public domain because they think it’s something that should be in the public domain, irrespective of their political leanings. Or, as they’ve admitted they were remainers, it’s likely they saw a chance to stick a knife in boris. Has anyone disputed this? Certainly not me. You keep carping on about it like this is some great truth you’ve uncovered. And your defining proof is it ending up in the Grundian.

Trust me i’m very chilled. hope operation iron underpants was a success.
