Well done Andy Murray. Seems the eulogies at your last competitive match were a bit premature. And you pay your taxes, unlike the present British number, who should really be Monaco's no. 1.
A gang of men have just been sent to jail for their "sport" of taking their dogs into the country to kill badgers, deer and other wildlife. A police spokesman said there are hundreds of other men doing the same thing. In court they said they believed their behaviour was normal. What is happening to the human race?
Just got back from another trip to Wembley stadium, this time to see Billy Joel. Still belting it out, and hasn't half written some brilliant songs. The surprise of the evening was the bass guitarist singing Nessun Dorma.
Do like a bit of Billy. Some of his earlier ballads are lovely songs. Sentimental maybe, but a cut above much of the slush of those days. Just the way you are & She's always a woman being two fine examples.
I'm off to Wembley to see the Eagles. Can't wait. And then Streisand at Hyde Park in a fortnight's time.
Iconic 80's - always reminds me of that scene in Ashes to Ashes... that was a good show. River of dreams is brilliant too, and The longest time, Don't ask me why, My life... the list goes on and on.
The 80's was THE golden era of music. A pleasure to have lived and enjoyed this decade. A great era for football as well.
I did wonder if he's sing that one, which was about his first wife, considering his present wife was there, but he did it in his encore, to rapturous applause.
