Also, how would this stop Rafa announcing that he had left ? The most plausible explanation for his silence is that the talks involve him and he's bound by an NDA until they either complete or breakdown.

 

To be fair to him, it's not for him to come out and say anything yet, if he leaves I'm sure he will spill the beans. His silence is deafening and I'm sure Ashley is aware! All this media silence shows how unprofessional the club is. They'd save themselves so much bother if they just better updated fans rather than relay on us all getting this information through second and third party sources. All they have to do is say "A bid has been received by x and talks are ongoing. We will update our fans when we have more information and thank you for your continued support".
