Be interesting to see what happens to Masar's price if the next one goes in. I'm contemplating a bet on Mirage Dancer, but I don't see the bookies pushing anything else out if Masar shortens.
well, here are my next two verdicts: perth,3 30: OUT SAM is very much an in and out performer,so is a bit risky, but on the plus side, has stamina in abundance, and on his best form, like the cork national or the thyestes chase last season,he must have a big chance,if on a going day.johnson a further plus. royal ascot,3 40: HARDWICKE STAKES going with MASAR here.i think, its just a case of how you approach it,and as i am very much a glass half full type,i d rather see it positively,as he reappears a much fresher horse than most, and his team will surely have left no stone unturned to get him back in prime form for this,so definite chance today!
Was thinking that myself... Chose the wrong line twice and got knocked n blocked as well... Oh well...
Losing his equipment seems to have made a man of Defoe. Very disappointing from Masar. Okay, so Doyle gave him an easy time once it was obvious that he was not going to catch the winner but the placed horses make this look like a Group 2 race.
Beat the very slow DXB and non stayer Roaring Lion, that looks a poor Derby, a year off injured, wont win a G1 again imo.
I lost my bottle and cashed out before Stradivarius ran. Just over £2000 back from £2 stake. I'm not posting the picture to brag by the way it's just so I don't get any Cyndi comments for the aftertiming
ascot,4 20: DIAMOND JUBILEE STAKES i think,INVINCIBLE ARMY can make blue point work really hard here, and it would be wonderful,if he can beat him today.this horse has lots of guts and speed, and no reason, why he wont go very well again.
I'd probably have cashed out too, but I was late to the party. Stradivarius was my only winner of the day
Indeed, but generally you would call a Derby winner a Group 1 horse, so without a penalty he should have done much better. Perhaps I was not explicit enough in my observation.
