I feel rather privileged to have grown up in a time where our then PM was just content on harassing coal miners. Then the one that followed was just ultra boring. The next arrived with a fanfare, but managed to get us involved in the new 100 year war. But nothing any of them did is as embarrassing as the bunch hanging around parliament at present. The poor children of today, I really do pity them. Imagine being eight & seeing Donald and Boris leading countries. Oh my life.
From the handwriting, there's about a 95% chance it was written by a woman between the ages of 20-35. There are exactly zero 10 year old boys in the world that print in such a tight, bubbly script, nor use cursive letter f's alongside printed everything-else.
This entire episode is distasteful, but not unduly surprising. What I do find very disturbing, is the fact that the police initially denied that the incident had even taken place, and only made a statement to confirm that it had happened, when they were caught “bang to rights”. The police force is not there to act as a private security company for the privileged few, nor is it their position to cover up the behaviour of high profile politicians, especially one who will be shoe horned into number 10. Still, at least the neighbours won’t need to call the police, next time, as they will already be camped on the doorstep.
I think everybody is getting carried away. This whole saga of the last three years is clearly just the filming of a new BBC drama. It’s going to knock spots of bodyguard. It’s so far fetched it must be a drama. I’m just waiting for “Call me Dave” to come riding back into town as the all conquering villain turned hero, to save the day and become King of Europe. Or will it be Grimacing Tony as El Presidente of Europa? Maybe there will be more twists before we get to that bit. It’s gripping anyway.
May's Legacy. What a dreadful woman, I hope she wakes at 3am with the night terrors, can only hope karma comes round with a heavy knock. https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news...3owhIZtly1mNVVCfQ9ph2a2SvM#Echobox=1561196169 Jaboriginal
I occasionally receive messages from a niece, who works in Westminster. She is with the Home Office, but has also done several years with the Foreign Office, including serving abroad in two different embassies. Her latest message includes the following: “I have had enough of the politicians. They’re a bunch of egotistical power hungry @&£holes that don’t really care about others. I’ve spent twenty years of my life trying to get them to do the right thing. We are all fed up that they are going to lead us off a cliff like a bunch of lemmings.” I think we all knew the first bit, but it must be so frustrating for those that have to work for people who they don’t believe in. A previous message included my favourite line from her, sent just before the last general election, which was “I could never imagine voting for the Conservatives, like my mum”. This really tickled me as her mum is a zealous, fully paid up member of the Tory party, who unintentionally does a very good impression of Hyacinth Bucket, minus the laughs.
Boris's bint: "You just don't care for anything because you're spoilt. You have no care for money or anything." Our next Prime Minister!
Just found this on Facebook, posted just before the Brexit referendum. A shame that it didn’t get more widely read, before the vote, as it might have knocked a few rose tinted glasses off.
oh a Boris fan! well done! (I didn't actually personally hear him say any of this either) https://www.indy100.com/article/bor...u5IVTNVhsO-cigJotARz9WQTxo#Echobox=1561130284
