    Good Morning Everyone

"Welcome back into my life Leeds United. Not seen you for 15 years."

These were the words uttered by Phil Neville, part owner of Salford City upon the newly promoted league club being drawn at home against Leeds in the first round of the Carabao Cup.

Salford City are jointly owned by Gary Neville, Ryan Giggs, Nicky Butt, Phil Neville and David Beckham - all names we'd probably choose to forget!

Hmmmm, seems Phil has forgotten Beckford in 2010!

    Televised game anyone?

Leeds have now received official communication with newly relegated Fulham about the availability of Adam Forshaw.

The 27yo had a mixed season last term during his 29 appearances.

I'd say, if we can get close what we paid for him (4.5m), then let Orta work his magic to see what he can find!

    Agree?

Given the choice today would you rather have Radebe or Viduka in your starting line up (assuming both players were 27yo).

Good morning with their stadium <laugh> only holding five thousand not much chance of a ticket.
Forshaw for me can go but only if we can get a younger.. Hungrier and faster replacement with an eye for goal.
On sunday i will be 65 and with me falling out with she who fell over on holiday it may be a quiet one.

Morning all , and happy Birthday for Sunday Wakey :emoticon-0148-yes::emoticon-0166-cake::emoticon-0166-cake::emoticon-0167-beer::emoticon-0168-drink

Wakey mentioned a faster, hungrier younger version of Forshaw ........... May I present Mat Bogusz <applause> or Shacks

Forshaw although liked by Bielsa was a bit part player and in some respects we have him to thank for Klich and Phillips seasons.

Pre-season starts next Monday and we are still trying to offload players who were here last season and wont make it as well as 430 players we had out on loan. Cash coming in for Ideguchi, Saiz, Ekuban and Cibicki but we have a way to go yet. Hugo Diaz was a top kid for the U23s and I was surprised at us letting him go as he was Captain and was a key player in winning the lot last season. Highly respected and played DM when Halme and Struijk were selected together and even played in a back 3 with those 2 when required. I am guessing here but think we have a new CB coming to the club which would mean Halme and Struijk will carry on for the U23s for another season. This could be the White kid. OR Liam Kitching is coming back and going to the U23s meaning promotion for Struijk or Halme.

Wishing the kid Hugo Diaz lots of luck in his career and you could tell he was gutted to leave, so thats 4 kids released so far

    Morning all...

Forshaw can go and no need for a replacement, I prefer Shackleton.

Forshaw, Cibicki, Ekuban, Saiz, Clarke and Ideguchi, that’s some serious cash between them even if Clarke is nearer to only £8m up front.

If we get the wolves guy on loan, we only need a couple more players and we’ll look serious contenders, maybe two signings and two loans?

Let’s be honest, we have no need to really replace any of those above as they either played no part or very little last season.

Viduka out the two in this team.

In the current team viduka would be more critical than the chief... but would love them both!

    I’d keep foreshaw,

    Good morning all
Christ did we have to draw Salford, and as bucks said Salford will be up for it, we all know our record with matches we should win & even more against the so called minnows :(.
OMG what i wouldn't give to have a player like Viduka in the side,i'de even put my hands in my own pocket to help with the transfer fee :emoticon-0100-smile, as for Forshaw i didn't feel he contributed to much, so for me if we can get better (as i feel it wouldn't be to difficult) he can go.
I just hope were not gonna rely to much on our shining stars from the u23's,as were gonna need plenty of experience & guile to get out of this damned division,so i'm looking forward to some exciting news on the transfer front. :emoticon-0142-happy

Morning all. We were short last season in squad numbers so apart from anything else, we need a bigger and better squad. There will likely be lots of injuries again. Not my words but that of our head physio months back. Anyone thinking having 14 or 15 senior players and filling in injuries with u23'5 and playing lads out of position need to give their heads a shake. Example, we have basically two strikers and thats being kind to Bamford, one goalkeeper in BPF who isnt ready for the permanent spot clearly as Bielsa preferred Kiko. Pablo was overused because of lack of quality numbers and was banjaxed near season end. Bielsa saying these lads wont be able to reproduce last seasons intensity while Kinnear says they have every confidence in current squad. Mixed messages and Id be far more inclined to trust Bielsa

Morning all. If the comments on this board are to be believed any recruitments seem to be players that other clubs don't want.We should be concentrating on developing the young talent already at the club. (like Clarke). Clubs at our level have to develop teams not buy them.

As I mentioned yesterday there is silence around anything happening at the club and one person who is conspicuous by his absence is Ian Hart which can only mean Jack Clarke is close to signing for Spuds and if not Ian I'm sure would be first out of the blocks telling us Jack is going nowhere.

The Wolves couple are now rumoured to be signing next week. If true this would be a huge coup

White is still an ongoing discussion that the club are hoping to get done
