If that bumbling fool Boris is the best the country has to offer, then God help us. What an utter embarrassment.
That name Johnson don't half get some stick on this forum is there something in the name or a descendent maybe?!!
I used to quite like her when she was on that political evening chat show with Michael Portillo. That was before I discovered her vile treacherous views. She should also never EVER be given a position of power.
She used to be Corbyn's girlfriend. https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/20...byn-showed-off-naked-diane-abbott-to-impress/
I just watched the interview where he waffled his way through the entire thing and turned away every time he was put on the spot about his personal life. I know that is what most, if not all, politicians do when questioned on various subjects but this was beyond surreal and left me wondering whether you are about to elect someone who appears about as competent as Donald Chump. Ah well at least you can rest safely in your beds knowing that Corbyn is waiting in the wings to direct the country in a sensible and well thought out way, just in case Boris slips beneath the waves of obscurity. Politicians - who needs them?
BMW chiefs pledge loyalty to Britain as they prepare production network for Brexit impact https://www.dailymail.co.uk/money/n...prepare-production-network-Brexit-impact.html This is an interesting line buried right at the bottom of the article.~ ' Britain is BMW’s fourth-largest sales market in the world.'
I wonder if that stat includes the Mini? Most BMWs are built abroad but the Mini is built here (for now).
Any thoughts on the whole Boris Johnson affair then guys? I mean, not to provoke anyone. But can you just imagine what some in here would be like if that had been Corbyn?
A couple have a loud argument, voices raised, hardly breaking news, on the wider issue it does reinforce the fact that he is bit of a lose canon, again people know that anyway. As for your point about Corbyn, like our LJ, he’s a bit marmite.
The wife and I were discussing this this morning. We think that if he just came clean and said ‘yep, we had a row like all couples do. It’s all resolved now - sorry for any disturbance ‘ then that would be the end of it. By his ‘no comment’ stance he’s keeping it going - and people will use it as further evidence of his instability. It’s definitely in the public interest because he’s a potential future leader of the country. Exactly the same would apply to Corbyn - and Hunt.
All couples have arguments I don’t really see it as an issue, I imagine even the queen and Prince Philip do too, the difference is they don’t live amongst us. I’m not keen on Boris , but I would much rather they spend time talking about his views on much more important issues like Brexit, the NHS, lower income tax rates for the wealthy etc, than waste time on a non issue.
