  2. We don't have the dates available to take those gigs.

    #30822
  3. We don't actively seek out gigs in Hampshire. All the gigs we've taken in that county have been by invitation.

We're fortunate to be busy enough on our own patch.

  4. The Ashurst gig is a new venue for us, so you should try to make that one.

It’s a bit off patch for me. Let me know if you ever play in Lyndhurst (the village not the actor).

That’s good news mate, as the recovery time is really short. Had it ruptured (which is when it becomes extremely dangerous) then they perform open surgery. I’m sure she’ll be sound in no time fella <ok>

Glad to hear it's sorted mate. Bit of inconvenience with the holiday coming up, but good in the long run that she recovers properly

    Thanks.

It's funny how people use this place as a sounding board sometimes, out here in the real world I'm calm as **** and just telling everyone not to worry and it's all just routine stuff. I can come on here then and just go...MY PRINCESS IS ILL FFS I WANNA CRAWL UP INTO A BALL AND CRY UNTIL SHE'S BETTER!

I like it that this place gives us all a chance to vent and be real. There's something about sharing stuff with people on here that can be quite cathartic. 99% of the people on here are thoroughly decent and always there to lend an ear.

TV is dead now anyway. If I said to my son lets watch 'TV' he'd think I'm ****ed in the head. It's all about steaming etc.. for his age group it's YouTube. He watches YouTube like I used to watch TV.

I only stream now myself, my TV aerial is ****ed and I realised TV is actually something that people will soon look back on like Betamax. If I fancy watching something it's YouTube, or Netflix etc. Last time I watched 'TV' was about 9 months ago.

We've got Netflix, but it's my nipper that watches it mainly. I can tell you what all the cool cartoons are, but I haven't got a clue about any of the netflix series' that are on.

My daughter watches youtube, again she's got her favourite channels on there which mainly seem to be people playing with toys and doing the voices to them. Another one is some family in California just going about their daily business, their videos have something like 3 million hits and they are minted from it.

When I think back saturday evenings in the 80's, the whole family would be glued to the TV watching ****e like Bullseye, 3-2-1, Play your cards right and Blankety ****ing Blank <laugh>

Sorry to hear, mate. I'm sure she'll be on the mend and fine to go away on holiday.

The same thing happened with my daughter 2 years ago and it was panic stations. She started screaming all of a sudden so I took her to A&E, a few hours later I was signing forms for her to go to theatre. Not nice and more worry than it should be really.

FWIW within a week she was back to herself and forgetting about the operation that she had. The holiday and your princess will be alright <ok>
