Why would we or anyone else want to exploit them...if you mean by that to get the right price etc why would we be exploiting them. Do we exploit the Chinese are we worried about their working practises. if we are...... why haven't we boycotted them same with other countries.

    First line.
Have you not read any of the reports of the government exploiting the British electorate?
If they would exploit their own citizens, they would exploit people from other nations, as indeed we did when we ruled an empire.

Because you make a lot of money and such from it?

We have a higher tariff with China than we do with EU countries while in the EU which encourages us to trade with those who share our values and who we have legal arrangements to enforce standards. Trade deals also allow us to do this to an extent. US not following our standards on food production is why that trade deal was so unpopular and ended up being dropped. Although now we are weaker Trump is looking to exploit us and make us drop those values due to our need for trade and inability to chose the trade deals we want after leaving the EU.

But yes we are obviously exploiting the cheap Chinese workforce...

As a country China has more trade power than the UK does though.

In the words of an elder statesman of tennis - “you cannot be serious”!
You actually think that the ****show which will be released upon this country by a no deal Brexit will allow us to adapt? This us EXACTLY the thinking that has got us into this mess in the first place.
A no deal Brexit will **** Northern Ireland, travel between mainland Europe and the UK, lead to chronic shortages of goods, services, food and pharmaceuticals, cripple the pound and the economy and lead to the break up of the UK. Plus the selling off of the NHS to the US insurance companies.
I’m trying desperately to find a country I can move to in the wake of one, because sure as hell I don’t want to be here.
Oh, and by the way, it will make nearly all of the Tory ministers who want to be PM plus their backers even richer than they are now - it’s just what they want.
    Utter ****ing madness

    Results of today's Tory ballot...

    143 - Boris Johnson
    54 - Jeremy Hunt
    51 - Michael Gove
    38 - Sajid Javid
    27 - Rory Stewart

Rory Stewart eliminated. Quite how Sajid Javid has climbed to 38 votes is beyond me... well, it's not actually - clearly some tactical voting there (as expected) from the Boris backers towards Hunt/Javid.

You'd think a lot of the Stewart backers will now move on to support Gove though, with Javid dropping next. Then it all comes down to whether Gove can secure enough of Javid's backers to avoid the final two being Johnson and Hunt.

Stewart was said to be talking to Gove about a deal so that looks likely. The buffoon is bound to win though.

Rory Stewart was showing signs of reason, humanity, and the capacity to compromise - so of course that was the end of him

Exactly. Politics in this country (and many others) is broken. Anyone any ideas where I can move to get away from all this ****?

Dunno mate. I was thinking of returning to the 20th Century myself, but then the first half of that one wasn’t great either.

Anyone else notice "The Beast of Bolsover" having a chuckle to himself during that brilliant dissection of Johnson's persona.

Yep, exactly what I said to my French mate. Why introduce compromise and pragmatism when we can carry on the circus with Boris the Clown and his Tory Twats.
    It's a complete joke.

It could happen. Ken Clarke and about 40 other Tories could well side with the opposition in a no-confidence vote if it’s looking like a no-deal Brexit. And whatever the membership of the Tory Party thinks of Boris, the public surely won’t vote for the utter clown.

    Would they? <yikes>
