Shame they'll probably still let Qatar host it.

It would be so easy to just give it to someone like Germany, Spain/Portugal, UK, among many others who already have the stadiums and infrastructure.

Really it should probably go to another of the 2022 bids, which were South Korea, USA (who are hosting 2026), Japan and Australia.

Lock 'em up, the lot of them. It stood out a mile when they gave the World Cup to Qatar, the epicentre of the footballing world - I think not. Now nail Mr Big, SB.

Too many people are involved in football for the wrong reasons, particularly club owners.

Just reading the bbc report on his arrest, they go on to bring up some of the concerns regarding holding it there, one of which is the ban on homosexuals. So if a player is gay, then are going to stop him playing, by not allowing him to enter the country?

Even more farcical by the minute if true.

Great player. He could always wriggle out of tight spots. This will be easy.

Aye, I remember him missing a penalty. I'm sure he'll now miss another one...

There are only approximately 300,000 Qataris actually live in Qatar. that equates to about 12%of the population. Indian and Nepalis account for about 38% of the population.

I was amazed that Qatar got the world cup awarded. All about money in the end. Mega money. We employed Nepalis & Indian workers while I was there. Fantastic workers, but they where treated pretty appallingly by many employers, for example taking the passports from them. very poor living accommodation. I was always proud of my staff out there.

Mind you some great stadiums being built but at what cost? Cost of life I mean.

The Al Wakrah Stadium looks a bit feminine if you know what I mean? <wink>

This is the worst side of the coin with the workers. The cost of life is heartbreaking.

FIFA are responsible for this happening.

    Rant over

    Invest in rope.

Shame our virtue-signalling ****ish FA and Dan Roan types don't have the KAHONAS to tell FIFA where to shove their rotten to the core corrupt bent as **** bukkake party of a federation.
