    Brett Lee (310) and Bob Willis (325) are the only bowlers to have taken more than 300 career Test wickets each, without taking 10 wickets in a match even once. Among current players, Morne Morkel, with 204 wickets, has taken the most wickets without ever taking 10 in match. Among bowlers with 400+ Test wickets, Shaun Pollock (421) has the fewest five-wicket hauls, one.

    Muttiah Muralitharan is the only bowler to have taken seven 10-wicket hauls in away Tests. He has taken three 10-wicket hauls in England, and one each in South Africa, New Zealand, Bangladesh and Pakistan. Joint-second on the list of bowlers to have taken the most 10-wicket hauls in away Tests are Richard Hadlee and Shane Warne, who have six each. No bowler has taken five.

    Over the past 10 years much has changed in the rankings, and much more will change over the coming years. Who might make their first ever appearance in the top 20 by 2030? What do you think?

    Here is what is interesting when comparing the ICC ODI World Rankings of August 2010 with June 2019 :
    The same countries in the top five in both lists;
    Oman has risen from 21 to 17;
    PNG has risen from 23 to 18;
    Nepal has risen from 29 to 16;
    Afg has risen from 14 to 10;
    USA has risen from 30 to 19;
    Singapore has risen from 32 to 23;
    Malaysia has risen from 36 to 27;
    Vanuatu has risen from 43 to 29
    Ireland has fallen fallen from 11th to 13th;
    Kenya has fallen from 13 to 24;
    Canada has fallen from 15 to 21;
    Bermuda has fallen from 19 to 30;
    Uganda has fallen from 20 to 26;
    Cayman and Argentina have fallen from 25 & 16 to no longer in the top 32

    Many matches are, of course, contested between teams that are not very close to each other in the rankings at the time, which is fine, but it may leave some uncertainty about the exact rankings positions.
    I think it would be great if we could have a new format for world cricket (for 1 or 2 good weather months of every year), in which we have:
    In Year 1: the top 6 in Group A; 7-10 in Group B; 11-14 in Group C; 15-18 in Group D; a big tournament of the next 16 for a place in the top 20 and in the year 2 level F event;
    In Year 2: the top 4 in Group A; 5-8 in Group B; 9-12 in C; 13-16 in D; 17-20 in Group E; a tournament of the next 8 for a place in the top 22;
    In Years 3, 5, 7 & 9: Only the top 2 in Group A; 2-6 in B; 7-10 in Group C; 11-14 in Group D; 15-18 in Group D; 19-22 in E; a big tournament of the next 8 (23-30) for a place in the top 24;
    In Years 4, 6, 8, & 10: the top 4 in Group A; 5-8 in Group B; 9-12 in C; 13-16 in D; 17-20 in Group E; 18-24 in F; qualifying rounds for a place in the next 23-30 event.
