De Ligt's advisors have told him to go to a team such as Manchester United where he is guaranteed starts, before moving to Barcelona later in his career. (Sport) Basically, the agent is saying "start off at Barça's feeder club, and rinse them before moving to your dream club." I wonder what @Matth_2014 thinks about that?
Manchester United and France midfielder Paul Pogba, 26, is ready to go on strike in order to force through a move to Real Madrid. (ABC - in Spanish) Oh, how the mighty have fallen! Has it really come to this? The day that lazy failures threaten to strike if they don't get a move away from United! Little Ollie must feel like he's strapped to the wheel.
England striker Marcus Rashford, 21, could be offered a £350,000-a-week deal to stay at Old Trafford and snub interest from Real Madrid and Barcelona. (Sun) Yeah, he could be offered that, but that doesn't mean he will accept it.
Manchester United's Paul Pogba says this summer "could be a good time to move elsewhere." The France World Cup winner has been linked with a big-money move to Spanish giants Real Madrid or former club Juventus, the Serie A champions. However, the 26-year-old midfielder, who was named in the PFA Team of the Year in 2018-19, is contracted to the Premier League club until July 2021. "I am thinking of this: To have a new challenge somewhere else," Pogba said. "For me, I have been for three years in Manchester and have been doing great; some good moments and some bad moments, like everybody. Like everywhere else. After this season and everything that happened this season, with my season being my best season as well... I think for me it could be a good time to have a new challenge." (Taken from an article published on the BBC Football website) In other words, "I'm better than United and I want out." All I hear in that article is "Me! Me! Me!" For us neutrals, it would be better if Little Ollie forced the fcuker to stay, to stink out the dressing room with his bitterness and disappointment. I suspect, however, that Little Ollie will bottle it, and Pogba will be sold to a good club, where he will immediately make an impact and win things. My betting is that he will threaten to go on strike in order to force the move away to his dream club. @Matth_2014 ?
I’ll pay for his taxi to the airport. BTW he’s won more trophies with United than Spurs have won in the last 15 years. Just saying.
HIAG reads the gossip column every day, despite Spurs signing nobody for about 14 years. You have to admire his spirit. Bless.
