For the 2018-19 season (the ones I found T's & C's for) the Club state that they rely on Reg. 6 (2) (b) of the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 to state that there is no cooling off period having had a season ticket application accepted. However, The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 were totally repealed in June 2014 and replaced by The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. Although the 2013 regulations are very similar the Club (certainly for the 2018-19 season) is using the wrong legislation to enforce a 'No cooling off period' and so I am not at all sure this clause would hold up in law? Although I am not a Lawyer. If anyone has the 2019-20 T's & C's then perhaps they could check to see if the wording has been updated? AllHell
Bought mine solely to make it easier to get access to away tickets in the Championship next season. Plus, I wanted to thank Bowyer in a small way. If Bowyer goes the “return” will be symbolic. I have got precisely zero interest in watching “fans hero Jacko / Euell” get slaughtered in the Championship, as they would. #SackedByOctober
I am afraid that the power of the Moderator has turned our Mr @Royston Vasey quite quite mad I can only liken him to Nicolás Maduro in Venezuela
I post a load of cobblers, I know that. It's what I do. Mr ban Gerwen on the other hand really believes his s***.
It does. I missed out on Oxford away last season after we miraculously sold 1,800 tickets to VG members & ST holders.
You applied too late, and then you did not listen to good advice and travel on the day. You WOULD have got in.
I didn’t you little cocksucker. The tickets disappeared faster than you when you see a DM from AFKA. It’s worth a monkey just to be saved the stress next season.
And then you said "I'm glad I did not go now seeing as we lost". Go when we're winning, you only go when we're winnning
Poor old @Clb74 is getting panned over on Charlton Life. 4,730 season tickets sold is being called bull****
Sausage and Bacon roll with a nice cup of team or Breakfast Wrap or Toby Carvery, all you can eat breakfast I'll leave it up to you mate.
Season ticket sales have surely come to a dead stop. Less than five weeks after that great day at Wembley there appears to be zero momentum as a Championship season approaches. All we have are rumours of a signing here, a signing there. And it seems as many players are still leaving as new ones are joining. Granted June is always a quiet time, but this is getting beyond a joke now.
At the Fans' Forum last night there was a no-show by de Turkey (too busy negotiating to sell the club allegedly). However he did send a friendly message about the club's losses, which concluded that every season ticket holder costs the club approximately £1,000. This has RD's fingerprints all over it; either that or de Turkey is just as mad/spiteful as Duchatelet.
Apparently meaning fans have already cost Duchatelet just under £10 million this coming season if he doesn't sell up. Good.
