We all know there is a chronic lack of pace at the moment, but it was encouraging to hear PJ talking about his scouting mission to recruit young talent despite Warky not wanting to hear Jewell out. There are far too many journeymen at the moment and we should follow the brilliant start that Cresswell has made in defence with more hungry youngsters. We are in dire need of a right back - Carlos is a round peg in a square hole. I'm sure Jewell will hit on the right formula and it will take time for these players to gel, but looking beyond this season is also vital. On the subject of next season I pray that Grant Leadbitter won't be offered a new contract.
I've already said it before, PJ has got in the players to keep us afloat while he scouts out the younger players to take us forward. If we had filled our ranks with young players during the last window I'm not sure it would be enough to hold us in the division. The players he has brought in are obviously not with the future in mind but having the names we have now will help to attract others and we have a lot of experience in the dressing room for the youngsters to look up to and learn from.

I think you misunderstand San Diego I have no wish for Jewell to go but what I do want him to do is stop making the same stupid mistakes in tactics and team selection! Surely that's not too much to ask for? You're lucky you haven't paid for the pleasure of watching this garbage at Portman Road!

My god its another strange Hull specimen. The humber must be filled with some weird chemical that allows chips to grow on shoulders. Jimmy Bullard is a fantastic player and I think it would be hard to argue that he is not. Hull were stupid in signing him on stupid wages in the absurd hope that he would keep them in the promised land. An idea that was always destined to fail. I think the tabby cats should aim their angst at the idiot who offered him the contract and not the player for accepting it.
