    Saw it when it happened in the match, couldn't really tell how intentional it was. Watching replays made me think it might have been intentional, but definitely not clear-cut. Be interesting to see the outcome. At least it doesn't appear to have hindered Mata, which is what really matters to me.

    At first I thought it was accidental as his eyes are directly on the ball, and he has attempted to jump over him. However on the slow motion he takes a look back down while jumping, so I'm 50/50 as to whether it was intentional.

    I don't think so (Shearer kicking Lennon n the head for those who aren't aware) Compare the 2 then slag us off for it.

    I do not defend Bardsley's actions (I didn't see it at the game but the replays show everything you need to see and there's no defending Bardsley but don't slag him off for this as it is nowehere near as bad as Shearer's kick on Lennon

    No, it's not worse than that at all, but because Shearer did something wrong years ago, it doesn't mean we can't think that Bardsley's stamp was a bit dirty.
