Allow me to put it in such a way you may understand LoL, I know it's hard, but I'll try to put it as simple as possible for you. If we never made the playoffs, or even finished in top 2, the stats I come up with would still be same...........tick tock, tick tock.
I agree Chesh, but to be fair to both keepers, we have a 33 yr old keeper coach who's never played football, or keeper, but did read a lot of books....
I understand that, but cos Kiko played fewer games BPF's average would be higher cos of more games he played. So overall, kiko should come out on top.
But is he trusted by Bielsa, who is so obsessed as a coach? I can't believe that he would still be here if Bielsa wasn't happy with him?
Yeah that lawrie Mcmenemy an ex warrant officer tried to become a football manager. We all know how that worked out eh?.
Hmmn, I’m not sure you do understand LL. The 1.9 and 2 figures are average saves per game. At the same performance levels, they will be 1.9 and 2 for 10 games or 1000 games.
If I make 2 saves per game over a period of 10 games what is my average saves per game? If I make 2 saves per game over 1000 games, what is my average saves per game?
Oh dear.... If the goalkeeper has 5 saves in one game, or 50 save’s in 10 games, or 5000 saves in 1000 games, it’s still 5 saves per game.
Totally agree with that, only if he makes 2 saves per game, however. Bpf plays 5 games, makes 2 saves, 2 saves, 2 saves, 1 save, then has a busy game and makes 5 saves.......that gives an average of 2.4 saves per game The different number of saves per game, plus the number of games influences the average. Kiko played less games, but over the same number of games as Bpf, it would give him a different average.
