If this is coming from City fans it's disgusting, no players should recieve abuse, pathetic. Callum O'Dowda on learning to ignore online abuse and how Bristol City head coach Lee Johnson has influenced his career The Robins winger's future at Ashton Gate remains uncertain https://www.bristolpost.co.uk/sport/football/callum-odowda-learning-ignore-online-2949355
' O'Dowda claims he doesn't manage, or even look at, his accounts but admits social media and players' reaction is now a "big thing" in football, although adding his worst experiences were in the past as opposed to the present day. "Just getting hate and stuff, you see it affects them (other players)," O'Dowda said. "That's why I'm not on Twitter or Instagram, I don't have them on my phone.' Wise man, don't pay any attention.
strange how we form these opinions, with little or no evidence, yet I still feel mutch the same myself.
I’ve no idea whether he’s a billy big bollocks or not, i don’t know the guy, but if he doesn’t want to sign another contract then he needs to be got rid of, as simple as that.
I'm sure he's a decent guy and he might well have good reasons for wanting out. But if he does want out, just maximise his value and get the best deal for all parties imo.
LJ seems to be at pains to say he likes Callum and has no problems at all with him personally. It seems like he has been badly advised. If he came out and said as much and signed a new contract I'd have no problem at all with that. Too much is made of social media opinions and comments these days imo.
BARNSLEY have signed LEEDS winger Mallik Wilks for an undisclosed fee … does this mean they may soon come after O'dowda?
