There’s a zillion ways to get around but I think it’s probably more likely we have an owner who wants to use it as a restraint. And that goes for all clubs, both ways.
Out of interest when does the Ings deal become officially permanent? Would've thought it would've technically been yesterday/today if it was a foregone conclusion as that is when the domestic window officially opens?
Thanks. It doesn't really matter as I'm 99.9% sure the loan is being made permanent at some point, I just thought it would coincide with the opening of the domestic window. Or maybe there is still that 0.1% doubt that is hoping we can get out of making the deal permanent.
Ok who have we signed/sold.............?? Oh looks like nobody.....come on Saints its just after 9 surely your up and about by now........
He supposedly passed his medical, but I haven't heard anything about it being officially signed by the parties. Deals have fallen apart even after medicals before. I don't see any reason why this one would, but it's also odd that it's taking so long.
It is probably taking a while because he needs a work permit and only has 8 games for Mali And I really don’t think it has taken “so long”. It only seems that way because forum whispers have made people aware of this potential deal far earlier than we would have known in the past. I am sure something similar has happened most years. Vestergaard is the most recent example I remember of seeming to take ages
For what it's worth that translates to "The English club Southampton will be ready to pay the signing bonus of 15 million euros requested by the Rabiot clan and would also align with the salary".
