This was a fantastic goal...Redmond even had time to change his shirt a couple of times during the build up.
Be really glad when there is a lot of Saints news, but not for the usual reason. I hate having Higgins face appear if you open our BBC home page....makes me sick.
I don't know why I hadn't spotted it before, but last season, much more often than not, when the BBC Football page previewed an upcoming match for Saints, the headline picture was almost always the other team. Even, if it was a smaller club. Once I noticed it, it really began to annoy me, so I texted Beeb Sport about Saints continually being 'the opposition' even in our home games, and within a few weeks the ratio had changed. I expect it was just coincidence, but at least it did. Higgins was a vile man, and his face needs to be there as a reminder.
In a selfish way, this suits us. With his age, and fitness being so crucial, whether that be for a sale or squad player position, he now has plenty of time to repair, and get back to full speed in time for the beginning. This would have been a devastating injury for him and us if it happened in 6 weeks.

If you asked 1,000 Saints fans who would win a skills challenge out of Nathan Redmond, Jannick Vestergaard, and Matt Targett, I wonder how many would pick the actual winner?

In my old Job I had a customer who had season tickets there... Might have to find an old phone number
Wasn't there a load of drama in Rotterdam before/after that game? Or am I mixing it up with something else.
