    Yes, it would be announcing that the sale was getting closer and closer until it mysteriously dissolved into nothing.

    A deal like this works to its own timetable. Until PL approval is obtained and the wording of all of the terms are agreed, nothing public will happen. The timetable won't be adjusted to suit a Friday announcement.

    Should be some news soon if the date they gave for providing proof of funds was correct. Next Wednesday will be 8 weeks from that date (17th April) and 8 weeks is the length of time that is often quoted for how long takeovers take! The timing makes the setting up of that BZG purchasing vehicle company even more tasty.
