But what's YOUR view??? What's YOUR opinion??? I take it that what you have said is simply a regurgitation of what is on the racing club telephone line and/or website.

Just infuriates me, old scout. Just giving turgid 3rd party opinion. He could cut out the middle man (himself) by simply supplying the forum with the telephone number / website address!

Whatever happened to people writing opinion pieces and giving their own views?!? This is simply hiding behind 'old boy, soandso, said...'.

Some well bred fillies in the opener at Leopardstown and O'Brien has a typical representation of Galileo fillies with well known relations. As always though, can we go by jockey bookings to predict the pecking order?

Joseph O'Brien's Zoffany filly A New Dawn, was formerly with his father and she was only 5th on her debut but ran with promise. She was starting to stay on nicely when another filly cut across and hampered her run. Despite the interference A New Dawn started staying on again and passed a couple to grab 5th spot and it looked that evening that another furlong would not go amiss. Experience can be valuable and although A New Dawn is not a big, scopey, filly she might just have a squeak in a race where the Galileo fillies may need the run to bring them on.

The Tipsters are all over the newcomers but the betting suggests A New Dawn is the one for money early on.

In other Aidan O'Brien news it was stated that Magna Grecia had injured a hamstring in the Irish 2000 Guineas. It was something they did not pick up on until the colt was back cantering at home. Plans are apparently on hold until he is fully recovered.

Hi Chelsea, are you part of the club that owns this horse - will have a small bit to recoup losses from last week.

Me too, but I like to keep you all amused :)

And on that note .......... Markhor in the 17-25 at Longchamps is one I fancy. Unraced as a 2yo (read into that what you will) he had his first outing last month and it was a winning one. Just. The official distance is a neck, but the way he won was very taking. In a 7f race , he got a long way back early on, but after the bend, the saddle monkey got to work, and he fairly flew home. No idea what price he will be, all shows are SP only. My own form however is toxic at the moment, so beware!

Great Bear off to Newmarket on Saturday, people, rather than Haydock Park. Found that nugget out all by myself, incidentally, no texts from connections involved.

Will a win get him in the 'King George V Handicap'??? Hats orrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrf and all that...

Barney do you expect every poster to give a detailed explanation for every tip they post up?! This isn't a tipping service, if you think a poster is talking porkies just ignore them. We want to attract new posters on here and not push posters away with this militant Thatcher stance your taking! I've seen people say before I got a tip but was afraid to put it up, can't be having that, forum will fade away.

To be frank, and as I've said already, I think the thing that will most push posters away or stop them becoming members is them seeing a load of old rubbish disguised as an 'I've been told...'. I mean how anyone can't see the irony in someone, on the very same day, loudly proclaiming they are in text contact with the owners and then later on asking members , on here, if it will run in the Northumberland Plate! I shouldn't complain really as that gave me one of the biggest laughs I've had for awhile on here.

Of course, I don’t expect to stamp everyone’s credentials but don’t think it a crime to highlight something that is blatantly, for want of a better expression, a load of old rubbish. Some on here seem desperate for others to be well informed, and I accept some are, but equally several talk total claptrap when in ‘I’ve been told…’ mode. The King of that has to be the poster under discussion.
