Was good for the money overall. We'll always have that half a season and the flukiest goal I've ever seen. Great times
I feel like this is a very harsh assessment, I thought he was largely a solid player for us. After he was booed off last season (or possibly the one before & shame on us btw) he was out performing Kante in the stats of that position!
Not at all. I’m a bit of a fan of his, he was great when he came on against West Ham. See him play fantastically well sometimes, but not often enough.
??? He was bloody awful in out promotion season and said so himself. For the second half of the 17/18 season though he was absolute immense, I'll always remember the 1-0 win vs Man U at SJP when he absolutely destroyed them in midfield. This last season was a bit of a mixed bag, weak start but eventually becoming a decent squad player. Would've been tempted to offer him another 1 year as a back up player.
An average player in all honesty. Remember he never looked like a good player in a constantly threatened relegation side. He tried hard so for that I give him credit. Couldn’t create chances and didn’t score enough goals. He also frustrated me at times.
Bit harsh as for at least half of 17/18 and half of 18/19 he was very good, and a remarkable improvement for how he started out. When he was bad he was ****ing dreadful though.
