Buttler and Root in.... This could be something truly special if we do it.

Pakistan clear favourites right now though.

Ah well, good game, all credit to Pakistan. Just one too many low scores in England's top order.

No, all team play each other, so there is plenty of time to recover.

Needed one more fifty from them.

To be fair our fielding let us down, get Hafeez out when Roy dropped him we win. Not like us so I am not to worried.

I reckon we will get to the last 4 and then it is all down to who plays best on the day. I reckon we can afford to lose 1 more, maybe 2 and still get through to the last 4.

South Africa's tournament could be pretty much over today with the way they're going against India - didn't see that one coming

The team qualifying in 4th place will lose at the very least three games ( or equivalent in no results/ ties).
I think the four will probably be out of NZ, Aussies,Windies, India and England. I agree with you, still think we'll get through to the last four, but then it's anyone's. Most teams have at least one player capable of getting a quick fire big hundred. If they happen to come off, then it makes it tough for opposition. While I would just about agree with the favourites tag, I do think the media have over egged our invincibliity

Got 18-1 on the Windies with the help of an odds boost and backed India too, both teams looking good. I don't like Eoin Morgan as a captain going back to the t20 final v the Windies but we should make the last four. Not sure our much vaunted endless batting is quite all it seems once Buttler is out, Ali was pretty useless the other day

Bloody hell, that's stunning. Been some blinding catches (and great matches) so far! Fingers crossed the Windies can get over the line here.

Naah, not as good as Ben's. The fact that he threw it up cos he was crossing the boundary was quick thinking but technically the catch was straightforward.

You're a hard man to please Ernie! You said about Stokes's catch that despite being good he'd made it harder for himself by being in the wrong field position to start with!
