I will acknowledge their impressive open top bus tour of Liverpool though, proper civic reception with a febrile 750K on the streets... remember ours in 2008... another thing the Allams stopped.
Someone said it had changed. Gone all yuppiefide and see See you Jimmy hurrah Henry types had moved in. Do they call it gentrification?
Talking to someone today who was travelling up the M1 yesterday afternoon and he was overtaken by lots of cars full of red whoppers, all keen to shoe their allegiance to their adopted team. No on in the MSM seems to be picking up on the turd magnet aspect of LFC, probably because many of them themselves are plastics. By the way I'm backing the EU in the Brexit negotiations and the Aussies in the Cricket WC. Can't beat em and all that....
I saw one in a garden centre East of Hull. Bloke about 40, brand new Liverpool shirt parading about like a peacock. 'look at me; expression on his face. In the back window of his car he had a brand new YNWA scarf...……..and a HKR car sticker. What a shallow pratt.
Mate at work showed me pics of his wife in tribal bar with her LFC top on (FC die hard) along with other knobs, got me wondering if other plastics look at each other and think l'm more of a "fan" than you,
You were lucky. I went into east Hull pub, Saturday night, it was like I'd been teleported to 'The Albert' on Scotland Road. Loads of Hull blokes with their offspring in LFC shirts. ****ing embarrassing. Most of them are so dense if their brains were full of dynamite they wouldn't have enough to blow their hats off.
The metropolitan area is over 2million. That is the area City Man alwayscquotes to explain why clubs have bigger crowds than us, whilst quoting our city population in comparison.

Seems we accept it more than others. Will be interesting to see the figures for the eagerly anticipated, equal money deserving, Women’s World Cup.
