Of course. It isn't for champions and it's not a league. 100% fail for accuracy. It's just a competition for the best teams in Europe and some leagues are so crap even the 6th best team in the PL can walkover their champions. I think it should be called the European Coefficient Championship.
UEFA didn't let us play by accident. They didn't wake up and go "oh **** we've somehow let 4 teams from one country play, and they can't all have won their league". The name is just a name.

Yeah but at least it's performance based and the coefficient caclulations are published instead of the #bentasfuck #warmballs used by the domestic cups
It's not performance based mate, if it was it would be a knockout drawn round by round. As it is you can pretty accurately predict the 16 teams who will go into the knockout stage and probably the last 8 since it's first against second. All done to attract the most money possible in the last 3 rounds.
Both Valencia and Napoli were 'good enough' for the Champions league this season, but we knocked them both out of the EL. The difference between Arsenal and Spurs this season was 1 point. We both lost European finals.
