<peacedove>Divock Origi must not go unnoticed this season. No Salah, no Firmino against Barcelona he scored two
goals. He came as a substitute against Tottenham yesterday and scored also.We sent him on loan last season and nearly sold him too.To me, he deserves recongation.

It's not like we have loads of forwards anyway that we can afford to offload one who only scores the most important goals ever

This plus generally there arent that many quality strikers in world football at the moment. Who ever we could realistically replace him with would be a gamble.

we all know hes ****ing useless, but as said already he scores important goals, usually from the bench, he is also a nuisance to opposition players, just ****e at passing <laugh>

Origi is far from '****ing useless', he provides different questions for defences. He shields the ball well and uses his size and strength to build
attacks. He is also pretty quick over the turf. Pretty good option as a 4th choice(?) forward, we must keep hold of him.
Its no coincidence he has scored vital goals this season in big games.

Whatever anyone says about him he's a Liverpool legend now and will always be remembered and always be spoken of.

I've always been of the opinion that he has the attributes to be a really useful squad player since he can cover LW & CF and even RW at a push. The question is can actually put the work in to take advantage of those attributes.
He has played in 21 games this season & has 7 goals 1 assist in approx 660 mins of game time.So If he isn't after silly money i'd offer a new contract.

Well, he can't pass, doesn't often look up, can't track players to close off passing angles which screws our pressing game, but somehow managers to score important goals from his only shooting opportunity. He's a pretty ****e player all round and shouldn't be anywhere near our starting XI, but he's got to be worth a squad option as a late substitute, hasn't he?

contracts are not about what you've done. they are about what you will do next.

If his head is right to be that 4th or 5th man and be happy and work.like a dog for every chance fine.... but if not then ok thanks for this great memory

He's a excellent option from the bench imo. He's not the greatest player but he's very direct and attacking, he offers something different and changes the game.

The main thing with dickhead orgy is he's a player who knows to play in the lines of the 6 yard box but is also good off the left wing for shots.

It's something different to can't run won't run sturridge or firmino heading wide or deep.

Can we do better... **** yes.

    Is it cheap option yes.

Do we need a cheap option that's different to first choice but not competition to first choice? Maybe.

He's also lucky (or is it luck?)

Gets into good positions and presses and that forces opposition players to panic and make mistakes, like Pickford.
Even if he doesn't have the quality of the others.
