    The commentators keep saying they are shattered because of the heat. The heat at gone 9pm. Makes you wonder about FIFA’s choice of World Cup venues.

    Liverpool deserve something for the season they have had.
    Spurs surpassed their expectation.

    Very true, I kept thinking if Kane gets involved and starts making some decent runs spurs will get back in this but it never happened. Like you say a poor Liverpool display but they have been good over the season.

    I think when Robbo retires this one might be right up there with his debut shirt for City in his personal trophy cabinet.

    Just shows that even if a player has to leave a big club he can still win silverware at a lesser club.

    They don't tend to run about at full tilt for 90 minutes in those countries when playing football.
    The point I was making was if the heat was a factor in such a lacklustre final it doesn’t bode too well for their choices regarding World Cup Finals.
