Have to say I'm pleased for Klopp, brilliant coach and manager who's passion is infectious. Definitely good for the league and the best in the world for me. Fancy them for league next season. Didn't want them to win it n seeing Adam with a EC medal will sting a bit but you have to say that they're an absolutely fantastic side who probably deserve to win one of the big two. All rivalry aside as Archers said a few weeks I think you'd have to be very mean spirited to begrudge them their success. Well done Liverpool. Anyway, that's 6 big ears for them now, puts them outright 3rd most successful doesn't it? Definitely have enough to donate us one anyway for our contribution
Liverpool and Klopp deserve it. Anyone who says otherwise is saying it out of spite. Lovren can accidentally drop his medal down a drain though.
Liverpool could go on and win it two or three more times in the next few years. Got laughed at in December for saying it, but they are one of the best teams of the Premier League era, no question of that now.
Ah back. Just in time to see twat beard's smiling face. Going in the hot tub now...can't bear to see VVD snake smiling.
Agreed. Milner's the only regular over 30...they have a good three more years in them before they really have to change the makeup substantively beyond adding to what they have.
Charlie Austin is really in a weird mood. Tweeted again about Liverpool and now giving it large to the Saints fans who have replied to it. Twitter can be a very weird place....
At least there are millions of genuine Spanish football fans cheering the fact that it's not Madrid or Barcelona.
And may I say, hearing "You'll never walk alone" sung like that I may have to join the Liverpool board
Didn't really care who won it. Feel neutral towards both teams. But I'm happy for Adam, Virgil and Mane. (Couldn't care less about Lovren.) Spurs might regret that forever though. Liverpool didn't really turn up tonight, but equally nor did Spurs for the first 80 minutes. It's not unreasonable to suggest that this is a one time only thing for Spurs, and no way can they say that they gave it their all. It was almost as if they were happy to keep at it 1-0 and then have a go for the final 10 minutes.
Agreed; Madrid's old as hell, Barca's not much younger. I quite like Bayern Munich's chances of shaking off the rust and getting on with dominating again, but the path is fairly open.
And it's all down to Klopp really, came in to a **** squad and said he would build slowly didn't rush into **** signings if his first choice wasn't available and has gradually built an incredible team. People always talk about Pep and Poch improving players, and rightly so, but seem to ignore how well Klopp has done there... look at Trent, Robertson, Henderson and even Chambo in his periods without injury. He's completely galvanised the club as well, he's got a bit of everything n is definitely the best in the world for me. Like you think the league need to watch out as they're only going to get better, can't see Klopp wanting to leave and if they can get the league monkey off their back then think they could be in for a mini era of dominance. Scary to think how good they'd be with another cb or cm, or even if Naby Savage suddenly turns into a PL footballer.
This isn't bitterness but I've always felt that ynwa is one of the most overrated football songs out there. Not even their best song imo.
