I wouldn't swap my Saints supporting experience with a Skate for example, or Bournemouth, Brighton, Plymouth, Bristol City, Reading fan etc etc
If it was a school report, I'd say 'exhibits great potential but lacks the will to be the best'. Saying that, during my lifetime Saints have been at their best. Perhaps I expect more.
Don't remind me about our ability to obtain second place from every competition which we could have won, SA.
That's why I don't get too nostalgic about The Dell, apart from a couple of personal things. It was a colourful shed. Uncomfortable and cold, most of the time. And when they got seating in it was way too small. The floodlights were fabulous.
Guy likes playing fortnite and pretending to be Uruguayan more than football. Oh and making weird documentaries.
We still have a interest in Lookman too, not to mention we still need a CB and a Striker. And possibly a RB
12 different clubs have won the top English league in my Saints supporting lifetime and of those only Blackburn (with a mega rich investor) and the genius Brian Clough inspired Derby and Forest along with Leicester could be considered as a similar size to Saints. We are definately not on our own in making up the numbers!.
Getting in First team player of Ralph's this early would be a great start. I heard we also will soon be announcing a contract extension to a key player... that is 50/50 tho whether i believe it.
