Can't you do a couple of outdoor runs when you can't reach a gym? Fair enough. Can you not fit a run in before kids get up on Saturday or Sunday morn? Or too knackered from busy week
I play golf Saturday's wherever possible. She walks the dog first thing as it's football on both Saturday and Sunday mornings with my sons and my daughter does some dancing or other. When junior football season over, frees up some time. Can't come soon enough. Much prefer Friday evening cricket with a pint.
Yes, kids activities dominate weekends so I rarely exercise then. My daughter was doing gymnastics and ju jitsu on Saturdays; swimming and Brownies on Sunday. But we've cut the ju jitsu and Brownies so we can do more theatre/museum trips, playdates etc. Plus all the homework now. I stopped playing golf when daughter came along, and rarely go to the Bridge at weekends (unless I take daughter). Fortunately I work for myself so can fit in exercise three, four, five times during the week whenever I like. I actually prioritise it over work and lock it into the diary at the beginning of the week.
I could do that at weekends but would be doubling up gym membership for the sake of two days do am not going to. I just accept there are certain days I can't do it.
I joined a gym in central London and thought I had cancelled my gym membership in West London, but hadn't. Not only was I paying for a gym I didn't use for nine months... when I did come and use it say once a month, I paid cash as I didn't realise my membership was active. Now I am paying for a gym in central London I haven't visited in two months
Why is there a fitness thread on here? This is a forum for big fat losers. Don't want to read this whilst browsing the forum and eating a multipsck of Tunnock's caremels.
Probably done done than twice that today, Hoying 1600 cases averaging 15/17kg each. My back is ****ed right now. Can feel cramp coming on. Twat will get me while i sleep. I should do some kind of exercise really, Just Cardio, type ****.
Having a good week: Sunday - walked 12 miles at Brands Hatch. Monday - fitness class/circuit training Wednesday - swimming Thursday - 2 fitness classes back to back - core work out and general fitness.
Good bump guise! Had a good week on compounds, cba to go into detail, followed by a run (the second one curtailed by a gammy knee though). Been very hit and miss recently, mainly due to having too much on in the evenings and weekends. Will hit it hard from here on as not much on in June. Away on(yet) another junior football weekend at the moment though, which will involve no exercise and too much beer no doubt. It also buggers up the CL final viewing tomorrow, we're all going en masse to a pub which probably has one TV in the corner. Probably all have to hold hands too.
Back into my fitness properly now everything has moved on a bit with my Dad and the Funeral etc. Surfing when conditions allow, at the moment 2x - 3x week 10 mile MTB cycle 3x week Swimming 3x week and just getting out and about more for some moderate / strenuous walking on the coast path, including a bit of rock climbing (nothing with ropes, just a bit of free climbing on easy faces)
