Can tàke years to get something this big to court. Collecting all the evidence etc.

 

Ooooft Christopher Wilson esq has been on fire the last few days. He has just been backhanding tarriers out the ball park for fun recently.

 

I've quit my job and will be reporting on the case from court via my blog and will be crowd funding from other Celtic-haters to facilitate my change of career.

Those seeking to sexually exploit children make it their business to infiltrate organisations where children are present.
It happens the world over, irrespective of race, creed or colour.
Nothing wrong with Celtic offering compensation for something that was wrongly done, wrongly using their name / entity/ brand - even if it was without their knowledge - as both a cover and an enticement.
I think they should.

Any position of power and authority over children offers the same opportunity to the abuser.

I genuinely think it's rather pathetic that people seek to extrapolate this into some kind of petty point scoring exercise.

It's not a convincing argument for their concern about actually caring about both the consequences of and taking steps to eradicate child abuse or sexual exploitation.

Ok, minor meltdown after spending a few hours in casualty dealing with the consequences of child sexual abuse. Again. You should try it sometime.

Indeed which makes all this "new evidence" being leaked all the more strange. It's almost as if the lawyers involved are trying to get their case heard in the court of public opinion. Not that i'm suggesting for one moment that that's what's happening here.

 

So?? Good tactic for any lawyer. Have all the evidence proper for court but also have the public on your side.

United Kingdom football sexual abuse scandal

A sexual abuse scandal involving the abuse of young players at football clubs in the United Kingdom began in mid-November 2016. The revelations began when former professional footballers waived their rights to anonymity and talked publicly about being abused by former coaches and scouts in the 1970s, 1980s and 1990s. This led to a surge of further allegations, as well as allegations that some clubs had covered them up.

Within a month of the initial reporting, the Football Association, the Scottish Football Association, several football clubs and over 20 UK police forces had established various inquiries and investigations and over 350 alleged victims had come forward. By July 2018, 300 suspects were reported to have been identified by 849 alleged victims, with 2,807 incidents involving 340 different clubs.

 

Do you not see a difference between a peadophile tricking his way into a club and a club having directors/owners that know all about it and actively hiring more and more?

 

Almost like trial by Sportscene, which would never happen.
