Good Morning Everyone According to the Daily Mirror, the two reasons why Bielsa has agreed to stay on as Leeds Utd Manager are:- 1) The LUFC board have pledged to back him in the transfer market. 2) Improvements to their Thorp Arch. As we know, the coffers jar is only half full, so how did Radrizzani convince Bielsa that they can bring the necessary talent to Elland Road? According to Phil Hay, it will come in the form of loanees; and not the shower of crap that we've been used to over the last 10 years - we are talking top Premiership talent. Bielsa seems to be satisfied with that!!! Regarding the improvements at Thorp Arch, Bielsa has requested the following:- 1) He wants the swimming pool recommissioned. 2) The training rooms to be remodelled to match Elland Road. 3) An improved camera system to record and relay training ground footage quicker for analysis. Well respected Times Journalist Henry Winter was quick to point out how important Bielsa's decision was the team from LS11. Henry Winter Bielsa staying not only great for #lufc but his meticulous approach (spygate side-issue now) inspiring for aspiring coaches. Those who’ve seen his football library at home, books, match reports etc, rave about it. FA should invite him to deliver lecture to young coaches at SGP. Henry Winter Praise be. Bielsa’s rekindled a fire at #lufc, one of England’s great clubs fallen on fallow times. Fans love Bielsa’s football, the intensity, the attacking, the pride in the famous shirt, the togetherness, the fight.... As we know, Samu Saiz was helping Spanish Police with their enquiries relating to a match between Huesca and Gimnàstic at the end of the 17/18 season which Huesca lost 1-0 and had a man sent off. It meant that Gimnastic avoided relegation. Huesca didn't lose any sleep about it, as they were already promoted! Saiz was a Leeds player at the time so not sure what input he could have had!
Morning all Looks like Eire's guy was correct as we have Bielsa again. According to Phil Haye Clarke looks like being sold to fund a top player coming in, but the rest of the inbounds will be loans. Phil also said he can see Kiko being told to go and it may also see Pontus moving on as he deserves a chance in the Prem or abroad? KP will not be sold
Morning all. Hope thats enough to clear Saiz name. We need to maximise whatever we can get for him, having dark clouds hanging over him doesnt help. As Ive said elsewhere hope Bielsa has full say in transfers, confident he has as thats what I posted two weeks back. Not so sure I like the idea of Harrison returning. I dont care what supposed valuation he has, hes bang average and we need better
Fair comment mate, but if we believe Bielsa knows more about players than we do we have to go along with his judgement. I found a couple of things Bielsa said and did a bit dodgy last season but went along with it. He said he was sorry to see baker go as he wanted to buy him this Summer??? Baker did nothing for us and was next to useless but Bielsa must have seen something? Harrison he played almost every game even though he only turned in 4 or 5 top performances and Bielsa reckons much more to come? Afraid we have to go along with Bielsa so if Harrison comes back I will keep my powder dry. Imagine if Blackman came back to replace Kiko?
Agree re Bielsa. However, hes not infallible and like us all can make mistakes. Regardless of how many videos of the Championship he studied during previous summer, he was still new to English football. He has surely had a few surprises during the season and altered his thinking in certain areas. I believe, if he could be an even better coach this season especially if he sees the 22 man squad simply isnt enough. That was a mistake last season but understandable. Norwich had Pukki on free last season, season before Fulham got the striker on Loan from Newcastle and he turned their season around. Theyre the calibre of loans we need to get
Morning all Bielsa staying is great news, I can’t remember the last coach who managed to do a whole season and start the next. Hopefully things are moving behind the scenes now to both secure a few targets and equally unload the surplus. Clarke being sold to reinvest sounds a good move to me as long as we have a very hefty sell on clause. Any Spurs players we can take on loan as part of the deal...
Morning all. We are lucky to have one of the games top coaches. He will make more right choices than wrong ones and the football will be great to watch. Nothing is guaranteed but we have some kids that are going to make a big impression.

Good morning all Great news about Bielsa,As i have said before Bielsa is only human, and will make mistakes, but what will make him a great legendary coach, is being able to learn from the failures of last season (radz also) and their was a few. So next season simply don't make silly mistakes,ie to smaller squad, sticking by players out of form, and Auto's will be their for the taking,as it was this year apart from the aforementioned which ultimately cost us in the end.
Good Afternoon to Matt and co from a chilly Bardsey First of all great news that Bielsa has signed because AR has agreed to fund him with enough money to get us promotion I mentioned yesterday that I would sign Alex Mcarthey and I see he has been tipped to join us lets hope so Siaz getting discharged must be a great relief we can now sell him on It would also appear that we are about to sign a youngster from Barcelona well he must be good to play for them even if its the reserves Stlill hope Pontus issue can be resolved
Can't see the Alex Mccarthy thing happening, one of the highest paid players at Saints according to Wiki, would go for Westwood on a free from Wednesday myself.
Talking to someone down Southampton way who reckons could be a deal involving money plus Macarthy for Pontus?
Hope not personally, Jannson is the only quality CH we have IMO, Cooper and Berardi are both 100% guys but are nearer average than quality IMO.
Peed myself last week when I saw a photo of Casper at the club. Does anyone know if Bielsa has brought his wife and son here or does he just see them every Summer. I know his wife is an architecht and lectures at a university (Maria Brachelenti) and son Ines? But when I think about Warnock on a 3 day week because his wife and kids were in Cornwall....
