Transfer Rumours United's ever on going rebuild , are we nearly there yet?

Seen him countless times on local TV - he always shows up for the big games, but all too often goes missing against mid and bottom table teams - not what we want right now. He flatters to deceive on the big games that make it to UK TV.

 

I'm not keen tbh.

Just read it today but will be all too fine for this rumour to be a load of bollox.

 

Linked to signing Griezmann again today... obviously. In other words Atletico want Barca to hurry up and buy him so they can replace him.

I’m very happy with the Lukaku to Inter rumours. Whether he does well there or not is irrelevant to us, he won’t win us trophies.

 

Not forgetting the Sergio Ramos leaving RM rumours, de Ligt unsure about Barca etc etc etc

 

Strong rumour about De Ligt wanting to join United but how much commitment from him if the reported £350k wages is correct?

And what does this mean for trying to address the wage structure and harmony in the squad?

 

de Ligt won't want to go to Barca and play second fiddle to the likes of Pique, Lengelet, Roberto, Umtiti and Vermaelen. He will go where he will slip straight into a team as first-choice defender and, as likely as not, that could well be us. As the wages will be broken down into appearances and image rights so could be as 'low' as 250k per week - not bat provided we can cut our wage bill elsewhere by getting shot of de Gea and Sanchez.

You think he'd get that elsewhere?

 

Probably not, but it's a buyers market and we're going to have to pay over the odds for any player so we might as well pay for quality at a young age where we are guaranteed a decent sell-on when he will still be in his mid-20's. Look at the wages we are paying the likes of Fred and Matic - 250k is peanuts these days...................... Having said all that I've just read that we have 'withdrawn' our interest in him - hard to believe any of the stories churned out by the papers these days.

What's more worrying is who's not leaving. Looks like Young and Rojo have both been told they're staying according to them.

 

Looks to me like United are conceding defeat to Barca and saying we won’t be getting into a bidding war, especially with that ****ing vermin agent causing us all sorts of issues with Pogba anyway.

Raiola would drag it out for months anyway to scratch himself a few extra million the fat ****ing weasel.

 

It's going to be a tedious summer.

It's one of those where stats don't reflect watching him week in week out. I was only looking for 2 things out of that lot which I had to scroll down for, and that was workrate and pass distribution range which are both piss poor and say it all.

The third thing I'd want to see is possession lost but that's not on there. Maybe that comes under 'duels' which is also pretty low at just 47.5%

 

What I take from all that is that the statisticians don't ever actually watch him play - and that there is only a small handful of decent midfielders out there for us to buy as a replacement

Apparently we are looking at signing James Maddison. FFS. I’ll be booting my season tickets over the back fence if that’s the way we are heading.

He's bitter as **** but absolutely correct in saying Woodward knows **** all about football and is all about commercialism, nothing more.

 

On the basis of last night £100m is stupid for Joao Felix. Swap Pogba for that old lad from Juve who scored 3.

 

One report saying we'll sign Bruno Fernandes after this 'tournament' is over.

Did he look any good?

I genuinely think we need to keep Pogba, it'll be too much for Woodward to handle, trying to replace him.
