Like I say, if we had conceded that opening goal that would have been game over as far as Sunderland would have been concerned. Get handed a goal on a plate, still manage to lose as painfully as possible. No matter who owns, manages or plays for us, that hex just always seems to hang over us. Somebody up there, God knows who, doesn't like us.
Haha no worries mate Its gutting its **** But considering in the summer training camp we couldnt even play 11v11 game, and physio had to join in, there is no way in hell I'm blaming the owners or even the manager.
I think I'm right in saying both Charlton scorers have just scored their first goals of the season. Typical Sunderland
We were poor today, in fact both sides were, they had home advantage and it told, a bridge too far against opposition that had more nous, Pratley should have been on at least a yellow before he clattered O/9, this after loosing Power to a "innocuous" challenge according to the professional morons commentating, this made our task much harder than it was going to be, Boyer knows what he is doing and took the hit men off after they had done their jobs without going down to 10 men as they would have been with a tougher Ref. But our substitutions did not work out well either. Morgan was a strange one and it altered the balance of the side too much. I was hoping to see the front three of Maguire, Grigg and McGeady at some stage but it was not to be. Must avoid Wembley next season at all costs, London was the only winner to-day, but roll on next season.
Only positive I'm feeling is that my now local team Tranmere got promoted so I'll hopefully be able to get to a game.
