Morning all. I think there was no interest in investing in Leeds in Bates era because no one in their right mind trusted him.

Plenty of supporters are replying to Phil Hays tweet that Rads is playing down the interest, 99% are pleading with him to take investment, nearly all are saying don’t dare turn it down then tell us Phillips has been sold to balance the books. A few are suggesting it could also be why the announcement on Bielsa has been delayed

 

Either way this will put tremendous pressure on rads to produce results this summer. Surely his position will become impossible if he can’t deliver the required investment after rejecting takeover or investment

 

Bringing Bielsa in last Summer and the way he has transformed the club from top to bottom and had us playing exiting attacking football meant that like it or not Radz put the club back in the shop window. 49rs investment arm could see their investment double if the arabs really put pressure on. Right now Radz says no not interested yet, but he will know that a bad season finishing 13th like last season and no Bielsa will see the value of the club fall. Maybe he should maximise his investment and sell

 

See reports the QSI frontman is being investigated for corruption. Will Bielsa want to be associated if proven?

At least Radz is clean, as far as we know.

Careful what we wish for?

 

Obviously no one knows what is really going on regarding the approach from PSG and Radz's thought's, but surely no one in their right mind who is charge of a business losing money (or which needs to sell assets to keep in the black), but also knowing they need success, would turn down the chance of investment, because by needing to sell assets every season in order to stay afloat would eventually mean there would be nothing left!! Then we would be worth nothing.

 

He may be being investigating for corruption due to 2 payments totalling £4m being paid apparently. We can't even afford to spend £4m on players, never mind £4m on bribes. So time to bring in additional funds.

 

Nope, don't want another Bates / Cellino, even if they are minted.

Depends if we are going to lose Bielsa due to lack of funds.If we are then I want him to sell.

 

I don’t mind him selling just not sure I want the club associated with Qatar.

 

There are many countries that would say the uk have a questionable regime at present
