Parc Quell (designed by Goudi) is great but you need to pre book tickets a few weeks before you go.
Great views of the city from there.

The is an Arc De Triomphe there to...stayed near it two years ago.

Can also do history tours of the city ... there was a really interesting one about the Spanish civil war and Orwell.

On the outskirts there is quite a lot of anti tourist graffiti...I think it is part of a campaign against the authoritt spending money on encouraging tourists rather then on those who live there.

Me, Mrs RCL and the girls loved it tbh.

I wasn’t really arsed by it tbh. Probably didn’t help that their was a massive demonstration against tourists while we were there tbf. Miserable, ungrateful ****s.

This, I thought it was bang average tbh. I've been a few times as an old mate teaches yoga over there, the hippy slapper.

  9. The market is amazing. Could spend hours in there just marvelling at the food being sold.

  10. Watched a Real Madrid game in one of those harbour fish restaurants and it was rammed with locals. They got beaten so that was an experience!

Normally one will be used as a distraction, sometimes involving two and a third does the lift. I don't know if they do in Barcelona but I've even known kids to be involved. Remember children are good at crawling under obstacles in retail units and changing rooms to nick stuff such as bags. The gang may brush pass you, not always the sign of a lift, but they will be trying to feel where your wallet is and don't assume it's men, women can make the best decoys. And remember if you challenge someone, they are probably not alone but an accomplice somewhere a few feet behind you.

Funny you should say that <laugh>

I was out in Spain one time with a couple of mates, can't remember exactly where it was, but one late night when I wasn't with them, they got jumped by a bunch of lads (muggers) well not actually jumped but they were carrying knives. Well let's just say these lads picked on the wrong two guys :)
