I would imagine there are punters lost a lot more! Not me - I kept my 10p in me pocket I'm sticking with Magna Grecia at the Curragh .... did me proud last time, can't desert now
Thought the place bet was safe but either tired badly or jockey gave up. Done on the line. Reversed the form with MG. Looks like the 2000 Gns form is ****ed
I think that's right. There'll be all sorts of excuses for the losers but that was fairly impressive. Where was AOB's first finisher: expensive day for Coolmore?
Well done Oddy Form book well and truly ripped up. And front ridden by Frank -who knew?! Lord Riddifoed ew next at York
Did one of the “judges” say on here recently that they concentrated on Group races as the form was more predictable I shall stick to bumpers
Fancied TDH strongly today as the Guineas was a woeful renewal and the Dante looked a much higher class race to me, did not see the winner coming in a million years as TDH beat him easily last year. Nice to see Elarqam and Mirage Dancer winning well, 2 horses I liked a lot but were very disappointing ultimately, see how they go up in class as the season progresses, Elarqam looked a different horse today. Also delighted for Gosden, not running Calyx in the Guineas when he was 100% really proved a masterclass didnt it? the Guineas form just got murdered and Calyx bounced massively just like Kingman did after running his Guineas in the Greenham.
Had a bit of ew on Caspian Prince 30/1 (3 places) with bet365 in the next. Probably shouldn't make the first 3 but definitely has the ability to do so and could just sneak in there
terrific effort from phoenix of spain! but too darn hot ran as well as could be expected there,so no excuses.i am fairly sure, the best horse won today. haydock,4 00: TEMPLE STAKES call me crazy, but i have gone for my old foe CASPIAN PRINCE.hard to envisage him get competitive today, but you never know.anything can happen.
Fine afternoon's racing on ITV, really enjoyed it, and since I never had a bet, made it even better! Pretty sure I would not have backed a winner today, either. Hearty congratulations to Charlie Hills on that late terrific double. Phoenix Of Spain was ridden with aplomb by the forum's much-maligned Jamie Spencer, and Battaash is just an unbeatable sprinter when he feels like it? Well done, Oddy, on finding the Irish 2000 Gns. winner too.
Spencer is riding very well at the minute, less of the much maligned!!! Ryan Moore gets more stick these days doesn’t he?
Well, Nassau, wasn't me who maligned him, but he certainly has received stick in the past on here. I rarely if ever blame a jockey since I know very little about riding horses (a wee bit of trail riding hardly makes one a horseman )
