Just wondering what happened to some of our past members; Hoadie Gemini Born again Gills Girl Marco and many more, i guess with the development of social media over the years, forums such as ours get used less and less, but would be nice to see some of the past members come back from time to time, even if just to say hi.
Some people change names. Hoadie may have grown up. Gills Girl probably got bored forecasting the future. Petang has been found in the desert. What about Chairman? How many aliases did Chris Dickson have?
Petang - only a few of us will probably get that joke bristol407, full username Petang 57. Also whatever happened to the Major! I know Bucks is still around on twitter.
I have indeed grown up . I actually decided to search up some of my old stuff from years ago and have to say I did cringe a bit. Thought id pop in to say Hi cant believe how long its been, nearly 3 years.
grumpygit - thankyou - nobody's called me quiet before. Welcome back Hoadie --- I imagine no longer 'a ' Boi' --- I've tried my best to feed the forum a load of rubbish since you've been away (( which is a subtle difference from 'in your absence!' ))
Yeah no longer a boi anymore . It was good to see I was missed. I had a bit of time on my hands so thought lets try and remember my password and get back on here. Its good to be back. I had a long look back to the past. I think in the past I had a bit of a problem where I didnt think before I posted but then saying that I was only 15 when I joined here. It feels like a lifetime ago.
It's a cool mate. It was the saving grace for me, @alwaysright and @grumpygit we didn't have the internet in our days to make fools of ourselves, so we make up for it now we are older. Back in the day we only had a thing called door knockers
I was quiet the fool back in 2011 especially but grown up a lot since. Was good to pop back. I wonder if any of the others will come back.
I recall that this used to be quite a vibrant forum, I still dip my toe in occasionally, but since I gave up season ticket I don't seem to have the same passion for the club that I once had. But when May comes around and my Twitter feed is full of memories of Play Off final joy and despair I do miss it. Came to Priestfield 6 times last season and actually considering our dreadful home record was quite lucky, I saw 3 wins and a draw and a very good match against Sunderland. I hope to get to 10 or more matches next season, and whilst I dislike the appointment of Evans I am hopeful that he will be able to get us at least looking up rather than down.
