Release date has been set. The game will come out on 21st October which is VERY good because it is about a month earlier than normal ! Must say it has some very good looking new features....most notably the new team talk features. Much prefer Football manager to Fifa. http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/gaming/news/a339944/football-manager-2012-release-date-set.html
Agreed. It's far more immersive than FIFA, could easily play 20 seasons into it and still enjoy the game. I have my plans drawn up for the Saints already!
I like the new feature where you can add or remove a league during the time you play a setup. Insted of startimg up a whole new game. I think there are about 60 leagues aswell. Ive also heard rumours that you can manage under 21 teams to. The manager talks has also changed , you can change the tone of your voice. Angry, annoyed, carm etc. Iv'e already preordered my copy on play.com for £29.99 free posting to.
It get so frustrating sometimes maybe its because I still only play the 2008 edition were Satins have no money and Pompey are really overrated on it :l
I think saints should do a everton and link up with fm, 60,000 scouts around the world is a hell of alot.
I played Fifa Manager 10 and actually quite enjoyed it. There's a lot of good stuff in that game and combined with FM, it would be great! For some reason I find FM a bit dull (maybe it's the interface) and it just doesn't seem like a lot has changed over the last couple of years. Fifa Manager just offered something different but it's far from perfect.
What planet are you on ? It was more than good enough last year, you can never expect the 'perfect' game.
The fm's from 5 years ago were near on perfect. They were fun. The newer they get the more sophisticated they get and the less interesting I find them.
CM 01/02 is the perfect game...none of this team talk b*ll*cks. And whats more you can download it free and they are still doing transfer updates for it. I'm currently managing Saints with the original database just coming into the 2015 season.
I bet the first thing you would do if they took some of the new features off is complain. No one is ever happy with the game as a whole but there are always parts of the game that are really good and some parts that need to be improved. They have worked especially well on the match engine and stadiums, but instead you want it back to 2D ?
I must agree that the older FM's used to be so fun and I get bored a lot quicker into the more recent additions. Still very addicting games though and love the realism.
For some reason, the best part of it is finding an epic newgen in somewhere weird..... Ruben Reyes, my Honduran Messi...or Tamas Madgeyesi, my Hungarian Xavi....my Greek Gerrard Apostolos Koukoutselas. I miss you so much
