The first 2yo 7f race of the season and a strong and interesting field at Haydock (3.55pm). Golden Horn has his first two runners in Byzantia (9/2) and Golden Lips (40/1). Favourite is Godolphin's Sacred Dance (10/11) who is by Sea the Stars. Others of interest are Rhea (by Siyouni and trained by Ryan) at 6-1with D Egan booked. While in-form Bell runs Zmile (14-1)(Medaglio d'Oro) who is a compact, well-actioned filly. Lots of big name sires, I'll take a small interest in Zmile. The first 7f race of the season used to be run on Eclipse day. It's only the 25th May.
hi fellas!hope, youre well. goodwood,2 20: there are surelx a few less exposed horses here than CHARLES MOLSON,and hes probably a bit better on the sand, but he is nevertheless very well treated on his best form, being 12 lbr lower than for his last win in a better race,2 years ago.shaped with some promise too last time out,so good chance,he ll be competitive today off this mark..
yes,but ran not too bad.one to watch for next time.. goodwood,4 05: quite an open heat, but a tentative choice goes to TIS MARVELLOUS.was a little below-par last time out,but time before,he ran a nice race in the cammidge trophy at donny, not far behind invincible army, who backed up the form next time out.that is very solid form, and hes got enough of that in his formbook,to think,he ll be competitive here..
Oh well Spanish Mission ran well for the rank outsider. The favourite was always coming there though. The Forecast paid £26.30 if you had taken the Fav to beat him. Happy enough with the effort from Spanish Mission at a huge price of 33/1.
Good shout for the second - fav always had the race under control though. Some of those behind, notably the third, may do better over further.
