Cheers. Have to say I was worried that we were getting our hopes up about today's game, so many new players making their debut it was basically a new team. But we did ourselves proud, just a shame we haven't got a true striker to put the ball in the net.
I also want to say..you guys look a very very decent team. I'm liking the interchanging between Taarabt and SWP and that was the first game together. On another day you would of ran riot and scored 3/4. Luckily you started with Bothroyd instead of DJ. We were very lucky to have left with a point. I've seen a few of your fans praising Tiote...from a Toon fan I thought he was pretty dire today. Made some decent tackles n runs but the amount of times he just gave possession away was unbelievable. Anyway, just want to say it was a good 0-0 game and wish you luck for the season.
I think the reason DJ only came on in the latter stages was he still isnt match fit he has had a virus for the last 2 weeks lets hope he is over it now and can get back to his best.
your fans were excellent as always! sounded like an unbelievable atmosphere. you just need an owner who shares your passion and love for the team.. like ours!!
