Another case of someone losing some money on a horse. Tom Weston purchased it for 7K and it could only manage 7th in its only run, a Barbury Castle maiden when ridden by Will Biddick. I wonder what Fergal knows that the rest of us dont.

Probably believing what they see rather than the horses record. They seem to have quite a few new recruits, interesting year ahead for them as quite a few stable stalwarts have retired or been lost through injuries

Game of Thrones fans might get a little kick out of the result of the first at Yarmouth. Horse called Sir Jamie (Sir Jamie Lannister also known as 'the Kingslayer') beats horse called King Oswald

    Well Maxi Boy it was.

He won quite comfortably in the end (even if it was just a neck) and Moore just used hands and heels. He did have to roust him along after about 3f. Beforehand some 'experts' said he looked as if he would need the run Maybe, but he's certainly a big boy with fine quarters.

Will Brazen Safa give Bell a 2yo double later?

Sorry, old boy, my head is hung in shame. As someone once said, ‘more research required’.

Ex Seven Barrows inmate Dream Du Grand Val has just gone for £75,000!

    hi fellas!

    warwick,3 55:

this looks quite competitive, despite the rather small field.MISTER UNIVERSUM,though, has to be taken very seriously.won this off 3 lbr higher last year, and we all know, how good the skeltons are at targeting these good handicaps throughout the season,so with a little bit of progress,he should be bang there today.

Looks a waste of £145,000 Guineas. Small and forgettable for me.

Vivianite didn't seem to get home at all today. Upped 2F I thought they might have ridden her differently but she didn't stay at all. The Fav scored cosily enough. Lesson to self, "Don't bet at Ayr!" :emoticon-0145-shake

    warwick,4 25:

the newland yard holds a strong hand here, with vosne romanee and recent kelso scorer MCGROARTY.while theres not a lot between them,i think, the latter can go well here.had a nice confidence booster last time out,and was probably a wee bit unlucky at ayr, behind vosne romanee,as he made a mistake at a crucial point,so he might well reverse the form today..

He looked like he’d fade away at two out but then stayed on nicely enough. Odd run given how short he was. Hope they can keep him fit as he looks a better horse than the handicap suggests

Grand call Stick! Impressed by how the winner ran through the last furlong, 2 1/2 miles + in time
