A turning point in his career? He's only 20yrs old, already at his second club and only been there five minutes ffs
Money and fame has inflated the egos and warped the perceptions of many young people in many professions down the years.

Very true. And talking just about football, you get players like Best whose life ended far too soon because he wasn't well advised or protected enough.
Not buying into any Gomez sentiment. De Ligt is a far better player and having the Dutch CB pairing works for so many reasons. I still think the reason Gomez looked so good was VVD, anyone that plays next to VVD is elevated to the next level. It's a dream transfer that won't happen but if it does we'd be set up for years to come.
Off to Barca for 65m apparently. Think was pretty much always gonna be the case that Barca we’re gonna get him.
Moura is quality. De Ligt is inexperienced and Ajax as a team bottled it. De Ligt over the CL campaign shows how good he'll be, I'm not focusing on 1 game ffs
That's fine if you want to buy De Ligt as a promising £25m player but the idea that he's a "captain" on star money is a #joke
Because he'll never have to actually defend so strolling around to automatic clean sheets plus the occasional goal from a set piece and he'll be a "legend"
